Laura Lock’s professional experience has covered a gamut of public relations and communication initiatives. Her experience includes working for corporate and non-profit entities, corporate social responsibility, crisis communication, internal and external communications, cause marketing, special events, branding, and public policy enterprises.
A few years ago, Laura decided to make a deeper commitment to her personal sustainability goals by getting her MS in Sustainability at St. Louis University. This inter-disciplinary background compliments the other professional tools in her toolbox, and offers clients a particular focus with their strategic communication and business goals and plans.
Laura happily lives in St. Louis with much of her large family. “Giving back” is defined by Laura as part of what gives her back energy and inspiration. She was a Board member for many years for Places for People and Community Alternatives. Currently, she resides on the College of Fine Art and Communication Advisory Board with the University of Missouri St. Louis, as well as St. Louis University’s Sustainability and Urban Planning Advisory Board. Laura has been a Commissioner for eight years for the Central West End North Special Business District. She’s also very involved with her local Church, volunteering on the Mission and Vision Committee and Food Bank, and tutors reading and math for students at an inner-city grade school.
